The VidToDisc application was designed to be a beginning () of capture of video, edition and conversion of software. Its name gives its primary target: backup of its videos in a DVD (up to two hours of video with an optimal quality, chapters to facilitate navigation). It was included in the process in a very early phase, within the capture process, and not as effect of a later filter. The reasons are the following: · This filter is in charge in particular of all the details of each type of source (SD/HD, DV, the PAL, NTSC,… even " Rolling Shutter" effect of sensors CMOS).
