An examination of the history of urbanism in the British Empire, as of 1600. It makes reference to the transference of the British legislation from planning to the colonies and the influence of this transference of urbanization in the world and to present/display the approaches of urban management. The fast urban growth in many developing countries has focused attention on the tools available for the planning of control regulation, many of which close the model of the 1932 City and Country Law of Planning for England and Wales.
