Although many students agree in which Clausewitz on the war frequently is badly understood, no has almost explored their methodology to see if our understanding of its concepts can be improved. This book sets out the methodology of Clausewitz in a fast and direct style. Next, it uses that as a base for the understanding of his contributions to the increasing corps of knowledge of the war. The specific contributions of this study are the directions of the theories of Clausewitz on the nature of the war, the relation between the war and the policy, and several of the great principles of the strategy that examined. These theories and principles are in the heart of the present debates on the nature of the contemporary conflicts. Also great part of the instruction is based that prepares to the military and civilian leaders by its participation in the development and execution of the military strategy. Therefore, they are important even in the circles where Clausewitz is only studied briefly. Although the understanding Of the war is not plus a previous requirement to win wars that the knowledge is a requirement to have the power, work of Clausewitz has become an authorized reference for which they wish to extend his knowledge of the war. By means of the entailment of method and concept, this book contributes of significant way to that aim.
